When Vanity Fair invites you to their pre-Emmys party bashes, clearly you grab your Miu Miu’s and you go. And in the case, of Vanity Fair Social Club, you go twice.
For the second year in a row, Vanity Fair Social Club offered back-to-back parties during Emmy Weekend. Bringing the nightlife back to Culver City’s uber-fashionable new Platform (home of their Oscar pre-bash as well!), V.F.S.C. hosted celebrities and influencers from the worlds of fashion, beauty, luxury and entertainment.
With a bar for guests to sip Santa Margherita wines, Peroni beer or S. Pellegrino sparkling water, and delicious bites being created by Foodink Catering, Vanity Fair – and co-sponsor Shisheido – kicked up the party vibes by inviting in-demand (and Vogue-approved) fashion artist Jeanette Getrost to created stylish portraits of the already stylish guests.
Of course, Shiseido welcomed everyone by offering glam touch-ups to keep up us gorgeous throughout the night, showcasing their new Rouge Rouge lipstick – coincidentally, my new favorite color!
Further kicking off the festivities Friday night was the V.F.S.C.’s other partnership with YouTube – where guests engaged in a 360 degree view photo booth, starring in their own mini video.
Saturday, influencers were invited to mingle with others and hear from an array of panels designed on the ever-evolving television landscape and emerging TV platforms, like Snapchat and YouTube. Musician (and Food Network sensation) Trisha Yearwood, Blackish’s Yara Shahidi, Transparent’s Emily Robinson and Girl Meets World’s Rowan Blanchard were among the panelists. Guests listened rapt in between snagging photo booth pics and posting on social media platforms.
From there, the party moved on to Century City hotspot Craft, with an afterparty hosted by Vanity Fair and FX.Share the XOXO's with your BESTIES and FRENEMIES
