Ulla Johnson NYFW F/W 16 Presentation

Exuding that bohemian 70s vibe Ulla Johnson has become synonymous with, the designer unveiled her Fall/Winter ’16 collection at the Industria Superstudio (just a few blocks from the new Whitney Museum).

Launching her boho collection in 2000, Johnson can count among her fashion faithful JLaw, Kate Bosworth and Barney’s.

The designer introduced twenty designs for Fall/Winter ’16, presenting a story of opulent and ornate handspun knits and frilled cashmere in rich jewel tones. Models, wearing designs layered over mixed prints and intricate swirling lace and velvet, stood on a white backdrop with cascading flowers overhead.
