The Emmys Suite Life

fullsizerender-63California knows how to party. Particularly during Emmy Week. And in this electric city of buildings, party we did. But the Emmys – and the oft-discussed Emmy After-Parties (Wolfgang Puck, I’m waiting on my invitation for 2017!) – are only part of the fun.

Because there’s plenty going on before the big show. And one of the best – considering all the star sightings like Audrina Partridge, Aaron Carter, athlete and stuntwoman Jessie Graff, Moesha star Shar Jackson and singer Carly Greenberg – is Debbie Durkin’s exclusive, invite-only EcoLuxe Lounge. The annual event connects luxury brands with celebrities, media and TV/Film Product Placement and raises awareness for both brands and charity partners. This year, the lounge supported Shriner’s Hospital for Children – Los Angeles.

Held at the ritzy Beverly Hilton, talent and VIP’s enjoyed mingling with brand ambassadors, from such companies as Chariot Luggage (with fun, fashionable designs to make sure your luggage looks different than other passengers, sold at as well as Bed, Bath and Beyond and Kohls), Connect Charlie (a super convenient charger with 9 USB ports and 3 outlets, JB Clothiers (located in Los Angeles,, Mogul Middle School dolls (for the Barbie-loving middle-schooler looking to play with new trendy careers,, Bulletproof Coffee and Snacks (this is LA, you have to look good: and John Paul Pet (again, this is Los Angeles – your pets have to look good too!

But of course this is an event with a purpose and this year’s was to celebrate Shriner’s Hospital for Children (and the opening of an upcoming Pasadena facility in 2017). Guests and vendors were encouraged to donate toys for a pre-holiday toy drive for the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, while they themselves got into the holiday spirit by posing with an on-site Mr. & Mrs. Claus and posting pictures as #SelfiesWithSanta.

Of course, one of the highlights of this holiday-themed event was the life-sized snowglobe that was brought in. Tis the season to be Emmy-winning and merry and bright, indeed!

Thanks so much to Producer Debbie Durkin, EMC Bowery, the Beverly Hilton and Bristol Farms for an incredible lounge event! And please, learn more about Shriner’s and how you can help at
